Coming from a long lineage of traditional Ayruvedic vaidyas from Paliyil family of Nellikkode, Dr. Rasitha Menon has a long and curated exposure to traditional practice of Ayurvedic Medicine. She graduated from Sri Sri College of Ayurveda with a BAMS degree, after which she practiced with her grandmother, Vaidya Smt. Vishalaskhi Amma at Kozhikode for an overview of traditional Ayurvedic practices.

She gained valuable experience at Keraleeya Ayurveda Samajam, Shornur, under the guidance of Dr.Rajagopal, treating Autism spectrum disorders, ADHD and infertility. She has also trained under the able guidance of Sr. Gynaecologist Dr. Anand Mohan at the Sevana Hospital in Pattambi. Dr. Rasitha Menon has been trained in Marma Chikitsa at the Thirumoolar Varmology Institute, Coimbatore.

As a physician with Kerala Ayurveda Limited, Bangalore she has consulted on over 5000 cases of diseases, such as developmental delays, ADHD, parkinson’s disease, acute lower back ache, cervical spondylosis, hormonal imbalances, PCOD, psoriasis, multiple sclerosis, lifestyle diseases including diabetes, hyper-tension, prolapse uterus, and chronic gastro intestinal problems. She has used yoga in her treatment therapies with great success.

Born into a traditional Vaidya family, Dr. Vimal’s intrigue towards Ayurveda began at a very early age. Having completed his BAMS from Sri Sri College of Ayurveda, Dr. Vimal went on to practice at the highly reputed Keraleeya Ayurveda Samjam at Shornur. He has also served at the Government Ayruvedic Dispensary at Kadapra in Mannar and Chittar.

Dr.Vimal has been trained in Marma Chikitsa at the Thirmoolar Institute of Varmology, Coimbatore. Along with Marma therapy, he has introduced yoga into his treatment .This, in combination with a recommended diet regimen, has seen very encouraging results. Dr.Vimal has been conducting Swarnaprashana camps every second Saturday of the month at the Budhanoor Vaidyasala.

In 2013 he joined his father at the 100 year old Budhanoor Vaidyasala to practice the traditional Kerala method of Ayurveda. Over the last two years, he has been treating patients with various disorders such as Psoriasis, Degenerative bone diseases, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Mental Delinquencies, Sinusitis, Pediatrics, respiratory and menstrual ailments.
